Description
We want you to imagine yourself in a Guatemalan small town at dusk, listening to the pleasant, rhythmic sound of “Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch” back and forth. The Chinchines are a strong colored beautifully painted handmade music instrument, half-filled with cereals or seed beans covered by a sphere structure and a wood handle below. The Chinchines, beside creating music, can also be a particular art exhibition. Artisans paint on them a combination of colors and forms which gathered up all together create a great intersection of colors. Let’s create some artsy music!!
